Ryunnosuke seems to dominate every story she's in since her introduction but this is not an unwelcomed event as she is such a loveable character。 This volume also features an interesting look into Mendo's past and what made him develop a fear of the dark and claustrophobia。 The series is more entertaining at times when instead of just doing bits for comedy， it actually dives into character motivations。 Ryunnosuke seems to dominate every story she's in since her introduction but this is not an unwelcomed event as she is such a loveable character。 This volume also features an interesting look into Mendo's past and what made him develop a fear of the dark and claustrophobia。 The series is more entertaining at times when instead of just doing bits for comedy， it actually dives into character motivations。 。。。more

Ryunosuke's father really annoys me。 I've been thinking about why he bothers me so much more than Saotome Genma， another flat out terrible parent。 We see most of what Genma did in flashbacks and Ranma is usually actively trying to work through it。 Plus， no one around Ranma even pretends that anything Genma did or does is okay and he's never a big part of the story。 Ryunosuke's dad is just in your face and such an asshole with the way he denies her reality。 Ryunosuke's father really annoys me。 I've been thinking about why he bothers me so much more than Saotome Genma， another flat out terrible parent。 We see most of what Genma did in flashbacks and Ranma is usually actively trying to work through it。 Plus， no one around Ranma even pretends that anything Genma did or does is okay and he's never a big part of the story。 Ryunosuke's dad is just in your face and such an asshole with the way he denies her reality。 。。。more
